Kids Feeding Kids

SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAM

SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAM

How does it work?

Kids Feeding Kids empowers students to do good while fighting food insecurity.

  • This program is a win-win-win... for everyone.

Hungry kids get fed. Students learn compassion and empathy for others while building leaderships skills and creating a social impact resume. Sponsors celebrate making a difference that invests in the next generation.

    Here’s how…

Item 1 of 4

Kids Feeding Kids is played on an online platform that uses gamification to activate strategic and measurable social impact.

Our patented algorithm equates the impact, effort, and time of each challenge kids have completed to the number of meals earned. Earned meals (supplied by sponsor donations) are given to local organizations to ensure that hungry kids within the community are getting fed. Along the way, kids are empowered to build their social impact resume and develop their leadership skills.

Why are we doing this?

Kids are going hungry.

Food insecurity has dramatically increased across the globe and in our own backyards. Millions of families in North America have slipped into poverty, hunger and homelessness due to the rising costs of living, food and shelter.

If we are to achieve the UN Sustainable Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030, we need drastic action.*

Globally, as many as 309 million people including children are facing acute levels of food insecurity.*

Globally, it is estimated that 45 million children under 5 are suffering from acute malnutrition.*

1.2 million children are food-insecure in Canada. This means 1 in every 4 kids are going hungry.*

An estimated 54 million Americans including 18 million children are now food insecure.*

Food-insecurity causes permanent problems for kids, mentally and
physically.*
